Perhaps the most successful
and iconic fishery of the North Atlantic, lobstering is the
foundation of many ports including Portsmouth and Rye in New
Hampshire. We offer a two Hour trip that teaches you how
the industry works, why it is so successful and why it is so
fragile. You haul, bait, and set the traps. When the
trip is done you take home 5 Pounds of lobster. On the
trip you learn about the history, different methods, size
limits, selection, locations, migration, risks, reproduction,
people and lifestyle.
